Overview

A joint effort between the Chinese and Canadian governments, the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden was first unveiled at the 1968 World Exposition. Consisting of a public park and beautiful namesake gardens, this landmark can be found in the heart of Vancouver’s Chinatown. Each garden structure is based on the Chinese principles of Feng Shui and Taoism, which emphasize harmony and the balance of opposites. The Centre is open Thursday through Monday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. It is closed every Tuesday and Wednesday.
