Flyover

Overview

As the second largest country in the world, it’s nearly impossible for most visitors to see Canada’s entire coast-to-coast landscape. Flyover Canada offers this very experience with an immersive motion ride and film. The 25-minute attraction’s sensory effects treat guests to wind in their face, Niagara Falls’ mist, and the scent of Canada’s rainforests. Get a bird’s eye view of Canada when you visit the Flyover attraction today!

Flyover has a height restriction of 40″ (102 cm) and taller.

Industry guidelines advise that pregnant women should not participate in motion rides. Although Flyover offers guests very gentle movements, we do ask expectant mothers to refrain from riding to stay in-line with industry standards.

The entire experience lasts approximately 25 minutes. This includes the preshow Uplift (by Moment Factory), the pre-flight briefing in the boarding zone, and the 8 minutes you’ll spend on the Ultimate Flying Ride itself.

Flyover Canada is a very gentle ride. Guests sit on chairlift-style seats that are elevated in front of a large spherical screen. Visuals are enhanced by special effects, including wind and scents. The ride is intended to create an illusion of actually flying over Canada’s landscapes. The experience is suitable for children at least 102 cm (40”) tall and seniors alike. Although most people with a fear of heights and motion sensitivity do not experience problems on the Flyover, there are cases where a small percentage of guests may find the ride uncomfortable. If you are particularly susceptible to motion sickness or afraid of heights, you might wish to refrain from participating.

Yes! However, please note that Flyover is an amusement ride with motion. Our guests who use wheelchairs may go on the Flyover only if they are able to transfer from their wheelchair to the ride seat by themselves or with the assistance of a companion. Otherwise, they may enjoy the media from a stationary position on the ride platform. They will be accompanied by one of our flight guides. For safety reasons, companions must go on the ride or wait off the ride platform. We ask that guests who will be arriving in wheelchairs please contact us in advance of their visit.

Flyover Canada is open seven days a week from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm. Please note that the hours of operation might change due to special events. For the most up-to-date information, contact Gray Line Westcoast Sightseeing at 604-451-1600.
